LED optics are a modern, economical and effective type of automotive lighting used in most new cars with LED, Matrix and adaptive headlights. But when one of the LED sections goes out, the headlight flickers, the DRL disappears or an adaptive light error appears, repair becomes a challenge for ordinary service stations.

Problems with LED headlights usually start imperceptibly: at first, the light may seem a little dimmer, sometimes there is a slight flicker, one of the diode sections shines less brightly than the others. Over time, this develops into a failure of the daytime running lights, complete extinction of the low beam, or isolated ‘broken’ segments in the matrix headlight. Sometimes it is not the light itself that indicates a problem, but an error on the panel: for example, a message about a malfunction of the adaptive light or DRL.
If the headlight is behaving erratically, do not wait until it goes out completely. At an early stage, repairing LED optics is usually easier and cheaper than after the module has completely failed.

For optics to work perfectly, repair alone is sometimes not enough — it is important to take care of protection and prevention. You can also order headlight sealing, moisture and condensation prevention, glass polishing, headlight protective film application, as well as tuning with lens installation or light modernisation. This way, you get not just repaired, but comprehensively maintained optics.

The cause may be problems with the driver, power supply, control unit or the diodes themselves. It is impossible to say for sure without diagnostics, so we always start by checking the electronics.
