Unexpected problem with optics: when the light dims
A relatively new Volkswagen Touareg came to Car Light Design with a typical but unpleasant problem: dim headlights. The light output was weak due to cloudy lenses, especially in the left headlight — the one that is most important for driver safety.

Solution without replacing the module
Our specialists decided to disassemble the headlight unit for a detailed inspection. Fortunately, the internal reflectors were found to be in good working order. This made it possible to avoid replacing the module — a thorough cleaning was sufficient.

Polishing, protection and assembly: headlights like new again
After cleaning all the internal components, we reassembled the headlights, removed minor chips by polishing the glass and applied SunTek protective anti-gravel film to maintain long-lasting transparency.
