Overview
The car was purchased in the United States, and the headlights had to be disassembled due to flooding in one of the states. The car was purchased at an auction, brought to us and needed optics restoration.

The headlights were completely submerged in water, and mud and salt caused considerable damage to the optics. It was necessary to restore the factory transparent appearance and functionality of the headlights and check all LED technologies.

The car headlights were completely disassembled, and the factory sealant was removed from the headlight block channel. The sealant had to be removed because an incredible amount of sand had accumulated in it. After removing the glass from the headlight block, the glass was washed from the accumulated dirt, mud and stains. The decorative elements were restored and their factory appearance was preserved. The adaptive mechanism of the LED lens was completely disassembled and cleaned of accumulated sand and mud. The boards responsible for the operation of the adaptation technology and LED functionality were cleaned and coated with conductive varnish.

The restoration was successful, the adaptive mechanism is fully operational, and the LED functionality is working without any problems. The optics are ready to be installed on the car body.
