The owner of this car was installing bi-xenon lenses in the headlights. The previous workmen had completely neglected the quality of the installation. The Subaru Forester is sealed with a ‘slime’ sealant from the factory, its consistency is very similar to soft rubber, and it is also very sticky and greasy. But not everyone knows that this sealant is disposable. What does this mean? It means that if the car’s headlights have been opened once, it must be removed and replaced with a new one, the same or different. Otherwise, the car’s headlights will sweat, collect condensation inside the headlights, and the headlights will simply fail.

The car came to us for service, the headlight was removed, disassembled completely, to the smallest detail. The headlamp unit was completely dried and washed, the headlamp glass was cleaned of dirt and dried, the bi-xenon lenses that were previously installed were also cleaned and dried! The amount of water inside the headlight is impressive, but there are no headlights that are not sealed!

We completely removed the factory sealant from the headlight unit and the headlight glass. We degreased the headlamp chute, applied a new sealant, and the headlamp is now back to its original appearance. The headlight seam was preserved in its original form, and the opening and closing of the headlight is done strictly according to the factory position! The owner of the car will no longer be bothered by fogging of the headlights on the Subaru Forester!
