Factory headlights come with a protective lacquer coating, but once it’s damaged, the lenses can become cloudy. In that case, polishing and sanding are usually required.
To prevent this, it’s recommended to apply a protective film. While there are many brands on the market, our service center uses only top-tier options like SunTek and Llumar.

For this Volkswagen Golf 7, the process took just 40 minutes. The car had brand-new optics, and the owner decided to safeguard them in advance. After the film was applied, the headlights were fully protected.

The lifespan of headlights with a protective film increases twofold. On average, the film lasts 5–7 years depending on driving conditions. It doesn’t yellow or become cloudy, and small scratches self-heal from sunlight or the heat of the headlights themselves.
