When the headlights go out: the story of a Subaru Forester
The owner of a Subaru Forester contacted our service with a problem — the main headlights had completely failed, and the headlights were constantly fogging up. To diagnose the problem, we checked for leaks and found that the factory sealant on the seam between the housing and the glass had lost its properties, which was the cause of the condensation.

Damaged reflectors and weak light
After disassembling the optics, it became clear that the reflectors had lost their reflective ability due to moisture — they were covered with streaks, corrosion and cloudiness. In this condition, no lamp could provide adequate road illumination. The owner was faced with a choice: restore the halogen reflectors or completely upgrade to modern xenon modules.

Complete optics upgrade
It was decided to install bi-xenon lenses, which dramatically improve the light output. To achieve the best result, we additionally polished the outer side of the headlight lenses and covered them with SunTek film. This polyurethane film reliably protects the optics from UV rays, gravel, chemicals and scratches throughout the year.

Finally, we performed precise headlight adjustment on a light stand — this guarantees safe and comfortable driving.

The result is noticeable on the road
After installing bi-lenses, the Subaru Forester once again had powerful, clear and safe lights. The owner was satisfied not only with the appearance, but also with how the optics work at night. And we are glad that another car on the roads has become more visible and safer.
