Overview
The headlights of the Mercedes-Benz E320 w211 were equipped with 3.0-inch xenon lenses for the D2S lamp from the factory . But after 150.000 thousand kilometres, the lenses from the factory were ‘tired’, the reflectors burned out and the light on the roadway almost disappeared. A cloudy or milky lens indicates that the reflector has burned out. After removing and disassembling the car's headlights, we examined the factory Hella lenses.

Instead of the factory Hella lenses, we installed Galaxy Q5 bi-xenon lenses under the factory D2S lamp.

The functionality of the car's headlights was not affected, and there was no interference with the factory wiring. The car's headlight auto-correction function is still working!

Pay attention to the transparency of the new lenses — this is very important for getting the maximum light flux on the road surface in the dark.

Also, pay attention to the light after replacing the lens on the car. Unfortunately, the owner of the car refused to install new original Philips D2S bulbs . But even with the old lamps, the new Galaxy Q5 bi-lenses produce much more luminous flux than the factory Hella ones.
