Overview
A young man contacted our service with a problem of fogging headlights in his car. The car is fairly new, but even new cars can experience these problems; unfortunately, no one is immune to fogging optics on their car.

The car owner pointed out another problem — the absence of light from a foggy headlight. As practice shows, 99% of such headlights simply kill the main element in the headlight — the ignition unit. As you can see in the photo, the ignition unit was oxidised and burned out. Replacing the ignition unit is one of the most expensive parts. The price of an original unit can range from $60 to $300.

Our service quickly fixed the fogging problem with the Opel Insignia headlights. The car headlight was disassembled, the chrome elements were cleaned, and the headlight glass was washed from stains and accumulated dirt during the period of fogging. After sealing the headlight and installing a new ignition unit, the headlight was installed on the car, the functionality of the headlight was preserved, and the adaptive system works at 100%.
