Overview

These headlights were brought to our service centre, and it was immediately apparent that they had been disassembled before we received them, and the disassembly was simply sad. The headlight units were broken on all sides, pieces of the headlight rim were missing, the headlight glass mountings were broken off, etc. As it turned out, the reason for dismantling the new generation headlights was to paint the decorative elements in a different colour range. We did not understand why this was done, but the bottom line is that the headlights were simply destroyed.
Our task was clear: to restore everything that could be restored, and what could not be restored had to be replaced! The first stage was to restore the decorative elements. After dismantling the headlights, our craftsmen were shocked to find that the decorative plastic had been painted with nail polish! This caused the plastic to react with the coloured polish, which began to corrode and damage it. The paint began to peel and flake off, leaving the headlights looking terrible. After restoring the decorative elements and painting them the required colour, our craftsmen proceeded to restore the headlight housing and repair the mountings. After the repairs, the headlights were perfectly aligned with the headlight housing seam, and the headlight geometry was aligned with the car body.
