Symptoms of the problem
The owner of a third-generation Volkswagen Touareg contacted Car Light Design with a typical problem — fogging headlights. Moisture appeared after washing the car, rain or in wet weather, forming condensation inside the optics.

Why you shouldn’t delay
The car owner did not put off solving the problem ‘until later’, and that was the right decision.
Volkswagen Touareg headlights are equipped with LED modules that are sensitive to moisture. Their functionality can be impaired even by a small amount of condensation.

Identification of causes and repair
After diagnosis, it became clear that disassembly of the optics was necessary. Service specialists completely disassembled the headlight into its component parts and thoroughly cleaned the decorative elements, LED components and other electronic assemblies.

Sealing and checking the operation
After complete drying and cleaning, the headlight was reassembled with new sealant and then installed on the car. All lighting functions were checked in accordance with the factory settings, and the headlight returned to normal operation — without condensation and with full LED projection.
