Condition of optics before repair

The owner of a Subaru Tribeca with factory halogen lens optics, whose light no longer met the requirements for safe night driving, contacted us.
Even after installing lamps with increased light output, the situation did not change. The cause was halogen lenses with burnt-out reflectors that had lost their optical properties.
Lens replacement and polishing process

It was decided to install 3.0" bi-xenon lenses, polish the headlight glass and additionally protect it with SunTek polyurethane film to preserve the result for a long time.
Light adjustment

After installing the lenses and polishing, the final stage remained — light adjustment on the stand. Due to the fact that the car had previously been in an accident and needed a new radiator frame, it was not possible to achieve a perfect horizon, but this can be corrected after replacing the part.
Result

Now the Subaru Tribeca shines with powerful white xenon light, which significantly improves visibility at night.
