Condition of the car before modernisation
The owner of a Honda Civic 4D, whose headlights had deteriorated significantly over time, contacted Car Light Design. Replacing the bulbs did not help, and one of the headlights stopped working altogether. In addition, the optics glass showed significant signs of wear and needed polishing.

Installation of new bi-lenses
The headlights were dismantled and disassembled. The internal elements were thoroughly cleaned of dust and dirt accumulated over years of use. Then the service specialists installed new 3.0-inch bi-xenon lenses and reassembled the optics with a new sealed seam.

Headlight polishing and protection
After installing the lenses, the transparency of the glass was restored with professional polishing. To make the result last longer, the headlights were covered with SunTek protective polyurethane film, which protects against scratches, UV radiation and minor damage.

Light adjustment on the test bench
The final stage is the precise adjustment of the light-shadow boundary on the test bench to ensure comfortable visibility for the driver and safety for oncoming cars.

Result
After all the work was completed, the Honda Civic 4D received new xenon lights, which are significantly different from the factory halogen lights. Now the owner can enjoy comfortable and safe driving in the dark.
