Initial condition of the headlight

The owner of a Subaru Forester contacted us with a problem of a completely non-functioning headlight. The optics had traces of fogging, and a lot of moisture had accumulated inside, which caused the ignition unit to fail.
Diagnostics and cleaning

The headlight was removed and disassembled. All internal elements had traces of moisture, dust and corrosion, so the specialists carried out thorough cleaning and drying.
The ignition unit was checked separately. Inside, traces of repeated flooding with dirty water were found, which caused it to fail completely.
Installation of a new unit and assembly

After cleaning and restoring the internal elements of the optics, we installed a new original ignition unit. We assembled the headlight with a new sealed seam, checked it for condensation and installed it back on the car.
