Overview
We have previously described problems with Japanese cars regarding automotive optics. The largest percentage of problems with headlights is with the Subaru Forester.

There can be many reasons for headlight fogging! Dried sealant, cracked glass, clogged ventilation holes, etc. But the peculiarity of this car is that the headlights are assembled with sealant in the form of a ‘slime’. This is why the headlights fog up.

The car headlight was completely disassembled, dried and cleaned. The factory sealant was completely removed and replaced with new sealant, the headlight was reassembled to its original factory condition and installed on the car body.
