Overview

One of the legendary BMW car bodies, but the car simply has no lights. The owner contacted our service centre to have the headlights of this car repaired.

The cause of the dim lights in this car was burnt-out lens reflectors. During operation, it also became necessary to repair the headlight block mountings and repair cracks in the glass.
We disassembled the headlights and removed the factory lens, which was no longer functioning. We installed a new 3.0-inch Galaxy Q5 bi-xenon lens with original D2S Osram bulbs. The headlight unit was restored from cracks, and the glass also had to be repaired from cracks. The factory decorative masks were painted in a matte black colour, as the chrome had flaked off due to constant fogging of the headlights.
We performed a full cycle of grinding and polishing the headlights, followed by covering them with polyurethane film. We restored the wiring and replaced the igniters with ‘angel eyes’.
Replacement of factory lenses with new Galaxy Q5 bi-xenon lenses

We restored the headlights, headlight assembly, and headlight glass.
Before/After

After installing new lenses, we adjusted and corrected the headlight beam on a laser-optical stand.
