Problem with Ford Kuga halogen headlights
When halogen optics cease to illuminate the road surface normally, comfort and safety while driving are significantly reduced. It was precisely this situation that brought the owner of a Ford Kuga to our car lighting service in Kyiv.
According to him, when driving with low beams on unlit sections of the road, he had to significantly reduce his speed and literally stare at the asphalt. Attempts to replace the car lamps did not bring any noticeable improvement, so it was decided to turn to specialists for a radical solution to the lighting problem.

Condition of the optics before the start of work
During the initial inspection, it became clear that the Ford Kuga headlights were in perfectly normal condition on the outside — without any obvious damage or clouding of the glass. However, appearance does not always reflect the actual effectiveness of the light, so for an objective assessment, the light beam was projected onto a screen.

Diagnostics and solution selection
The light projection showed that the actual brightness and shape of the light beam were significantly worse than they appeared from the outside. The halogen headlights did not provide sufficient road illumination, and it was impossible to remedy this situation without interfering with the design of the optics.
The optimal solution was to install 3.0-inch bi-xenon lenses in the Ford Kuga headlights, which significantly increased the brightness, clarity and uniformity of the light.

The process of installing bi-xenon lenses
The service specialists performed the standard procedure:
- opening the headlights at the factory seam;
- washing and cleaning all internal optical elements;
- installing 3.0-inch bi-xenon lenses;
- assembling the headlights with a new sealed seam.
After completion of the assembly, the sealant was allowed to cure for the specified time and a test was performed to ensure that there were no prerequisites for the appearance of internal condensation. Only then were the headlights reinstalled on the car.
At the same time, the auto electrician integrated the ignition units into the standard wiring of the front headlights.

Headlight adjustment with a device
Once the upgraded optics were working, it was time for the crucial stage — adjusting the light using a professional device. This allows you to precisely set the cut-off line and ensure the correct direction of the light beam.

Result: light before and after lens installation
After all the work was completed, a final light projection was made onto a screen, which clearly showed the difference between the standard halogen light and the bi-xenon lenses. The light beam became significantly brighter, clearer and more predictable. The road ahead of the car is illuminated evenly, without dark areas and without dazzling oncoming traffic.

The installation of bi-xenon lenses in Ford Kuga headlights completely solved the problem of weak halogen light. The car received modern, effective lighting that provides comfort and safety when driving in the dark.
