Why is a lighting check so important?
A BMW X5 F15 that had been repaired after damage arrived at our service centre. During the repair, the headlights were repeatedly removed and reinstalled, so it was necessary to ensure that they were installed correctly and that the light distribution was accurate.

When to have a check
Headlight inspection and adjustment are required if:
- the car has undergone body repairs and the headlights have been removed;
- the car lamps have been replaced;
- the car has been driven off-road or subjected to strong vibrations;
- the car has hit deep potholes while driving.
In all these cases, the position of the headlights may change and the light may no longer meet the standards. This not only reduces visibility, but can also blind oncoming traffic.
