Overview
The fifth generation Volkswagen Transporter is one of the most popular vehicles for transporting goods or for business use. That is why its owners carefully monitor the technical condition of their cars to avoid unexpected breakdowns and downtime.
The owner of such a car contacted our service and noted that the headlights were on, but the road illumination at night was extremely weak. The problem was not critical, but it was unpleasant and potentially dangerous.

When checking the optics on the test bench, a very low light output was recorded, despite the fact that both headlights were working. Possible causes: lamp wear, lens contamination or damage to the reflector inside the unit.

Installation of a new set
Microendoscopic diagnostics showed that the condition of the reflectors and lenses was normal. The problem was with the lamps themselves — the previously installed elements were of poor quality and had already reached the end of their service life.
The service technicians offered the best solution: replace the old lamps and ignition units with a new set with proven LED temperature and stable light output.
After installation, the light beam was adjusted on the test bench. The new set provided a clear light boundary and a bright, even flow, which significantly improves visibility on the road at night.
