How the problem manifested itself
A Lexus LX570 car arrived at our service centre, which the owner sent for a thorough wash after winter. The goal was to wash off all the chemicals and reagents that had settled on the body after winter use. But after a long wash, one of the headlights became fogged up. Neither the owner nor the car wash employees knew what could have caused this phenomenon. Only one thing was clear: one of the two front headlights was mysteriously wet inside and covered with condensation.

Diagnostics and repair
Realising the danger of operating a car with such optics, the owner contacted our Car Light Design service. The technicians dismantled the headlight and diagnosed the causes that could have caused the moisture to appear. The headlight was disassembled, all internal elements were cleaned of condensation and dust, and then reassembled using a new sealant. After the sealant had crystallised, the optics were checked to ensure that there were no prerequisites for the reappearance of condensation during further operation of the car.

Final result
After testing, the headlight was reinstalled on the car and connected to the standard wiring. The fogging has been eliminated, and the owner can be confident in the reliability and durability of the optics.
