Overview
A girl came to our service with a problem of fogging car headlights. The cause of the fogging was clear: a couple of years ago, she had a minor accident with her car, and it turned out that there were cracks in the headlight unit. These cracks were repaired when the car was restored after the accident, but unfortunately, the clearance of this car does not allow many parts to remain intact.

After several years of driving, there were no problems with fogging headlights, but this winter the headlight revealed itself! After removing the headlight from the car, we found some interesting damage. Cracks in the headlight glass allow moisture to enter the headlight unit. Unfortunately, these cracks caused the factory ignition unit to burn out. It was decided to disassemble the headlight and perform preventive maintenance, as well as repair the headlight unit and the car's headlight glass.

The car headlight was completely disassembled, dried and washed from water stains and dirt. Cracks were found in the headlight unit, which were also soldered and reinforced. Soldering reinforcement is carried out for maximum strength of the part. The cracks in the glass were filled with special chemical adhesive materials and the cracks in the glass were reinforced.

After repairing the headlight unit and glass, the headlight was reassembled to its original condition. The original ignition unit was replaced.
