Ignoring foggy headlights can lead to the chrome elements of the headlights failing, the diode elements suffering from oxidation and also failing. The cost of a new headlight or headlights is incredibly high! Repairing the diode part of the headlight if it has failed is also an expensive service. Therefore, fogging headlights should be dealt with immediately!
The cause of the rear brake light fogging on the Porsche Cayenne GTS was a leaky lamp cover with a diode circuit. Over the years of operation, the plastic was damaged and slightly bent. Our specialists disassembled the car's brake light and dried and cleaned it - preventive maintenance of the Porsche Cayenne GTS brake light. After the repair, a leak test was performed. The test showed that the headlight is completely sealed and working properly. All diode elements of the headlight were checked and the car's brake light was mounted on the body.
