Overview

With each year of operation, the paintwork of a car is damaged, and headlights are no exception. A protective layer of varnish is applied to car optics at the manufacturer’s factory.
This condition of automotive optics is caused by scratches, chemicals and temperature changes. Damaged optics can be restored by grinding and polishing the headlights. The grinding cycle will remove all scratches, chips and damaged varnish. A full polishing cycle will restore the transparency of the headlight glass.
After restoring the transparency of the headlight glass, it is necessary to protect the optics from further damage. Covering the headlights with polyurethane film protects them from damage caused by sand, stones and chemicals.
