Overview

This is a rather rare, high-end car at our service centre. The reason this car came to our service centre was that the headlights were shining very low, the auto-correction of the headlights was not working, and the adjuster did not work when the car was started.

It is quite interesting why the settings stopped working on such an elite car.
The car headlights were cloudy and dirty, and any car has such problems. Whether it's a luxury car or a simpler car, all these cars have the same problems. Our technicians removed the headlights from the car body and began to disassemble them.
After the headlights were disassembled, we figured out why the headlight corrector did not work when the engine was started. At the same time, we performed preventive maintenance on the Maybach headlights. The headlight glass was washed and cleaned of accumulated dirt and dust on the inside. We also cleaned the chrome parts of the decorative element. We cleaned the lens reflector, and surprisingly, the lenses were in excellent condition!
We repaired the headlight adjustments and replaced the necessary parts with new ones.
Unfortunately, sand destroys these parts very quickly, but this is only if you try to adjust the lights yourself. Only then does the sand damage the mechanical headlight adjustment gears. These parts were replaced, their mounting locations were cleaned and they were reinstalled.
After the repair work was completed, the headlights were adjusted again without any problems. The optics were sealed with factory sealant, after which a full cycle of grinding and polishing was performed. For further protection, the headlights were covered with polyurethane film. The restored headlights were installed on the car body.
