When headlights no longer save the day

The owner of an Audi A6 came to us wanting to restore the factory shine and brightness of his headlights. The optics looked dull, the headlights were dim, and one of the headlights was constantly fogging up. Poor road lighting not only reduces driving comfort and safety, but also increases the risk of damage to the car when hitting potholes.
Diagnostics and determination of causes

The owner had already tried replacing the bulbs, but did not notice any significant changes. We removed the headlights, diagnosed the lens reflectors using a strobe and found significant burnout of the reflective surface.

The solution was obvious — replace the stock lenses with new 3.0-inch bi-xenon lenses.
Restoration process

The technicians removed the old lenses, installed new ones, solved the fogging problem, and polished the headlight glass. The final stage was covering the headlights with SunTek polyurethane protective film.
Precise light adjustment

After installing the optics, the car was sent to the adjustment stand, where the light-shadow boundary was precisely adjusted.
To achieve the perfect result, we recommend additionally replacing the car bulbs, as the ones previously installed by the owner have already reached the end of their service life.
