Damage after an accident
A Subaru Outback that had been in an accident was brought to our service centre. The headlight glass was visibly broken, but we assumed that the housing was also damaged, at least its attachment to the car structure.

Diagnostics and disassembly
After dismantling the front of the car and removing the headlight, it became clear that the housing was seriously damaged — there was a crack and even a through hole.

Restoration of the housing and installation of glass
The craftsmen soldered the crack and closed the hole in the housing with additional reinforcement. For strength and uniformity of the material, donor plastic fragments from another headlight were used.

Final result
The restored headlight is ready to be installed on the car, which will be returned to its owner in full working order after the body repair is completed.
