When optics need to be modernised again
There are cars whose optics are upgraded more than once. The Chevrolet Camaro is one such case. Previously, the standard halogen optics had already been converted to bi-xenon, but over time, the light lost its brightness again. It was the deterioration in lighting quality that led to another headlight overhaul with the addition of individual tuning elements.

The original condition of the Chevrolet Camaro headlights
When the Chevrolet Camaro arrived at our auto lighting service, it had 2.5-inch bi-xenon lenses installed in the standard halogen optics. Visually, the headlights looked decent, but the owner was not satisfied with the actual brightness of the light. Replacing the car lamps did not produce the desired effect, so it became clear that the problem was with the lenses, which had already reached the end of their service life.

Solution: 3.0-inch lenses + Devil Eyes
Understanding the procedure for working with headlights, the owner of the Chevrolet Camaro decided to take a comprehensive approach to the upgrade. The decision was made to:
- replace the 2.5-inch bi-xenon lenses with 3.0-inch ones;
- add Devil Eyes to the optics;
- match the colour of the Devil Eyes with the factory-fitted lights for a cohesive look.
After agreeing on all the details regarding the materials and stages of work, the headlights were removed from the car.

Removal and replacement of bi-xenon lenses
After separating the headlight glass from the housing, the service technicians removed the worn 2.5-inch bi-xenon lenses and prepared the optics for the installation of new modules. They were replaced with 3.0-inch bi-xenon lenses with red Devil Eyes.

Headlight assembly and leak test
After installing the new lenses, the optics were assembled with a new sealed seam and left for the technological time required for the sealant to crystallise. The headlights were then tested to ensure there were no prerequisites for fogging. After successful testing, the upgraded optics were reinstalled on the car and connected to the electrical system. After the auto electrician's work, the headlights ‘came to life’ with the bright light of Devil Eyes.

Glass polishing and light adjustment
The next step was external polishing of the headlight glass, followed by covering it with protective polyurethane filmto preserve the result for a long time. After that, the car was sent to the final stage — headlight adjustment using a professional device with settings within factory standards.

Result: light before and after modification
After the adjustment was completed, the final light projection was performed on the stand. The difference between the previous 2.5-inch lenses and the new 3.0-inch bi-xenon lenses became obvious. The light became brighter, more uniform and more predictable, and the additional Devil Eyes gave the headlights an individual and aggressive character.
