Initial condition of the optics
The BMW X5 e70 SUV was actively used on sandy and dirt roads. As a result, the headlights were so covered with dust from the inside that the light practically disappeared.

Why we chose to replace the glass
The headlight glass was dull and needed polishing. However, the owner chose to replace it with new glass, which minimised the risk of damage to the housing during disassembly and ensured the cleanest possible optics.

Detailed cleaning from the inside
After removing the glass, the specialists thoroughly cleaned all internal optical elements. For clarity, they compared the xenon light module before and after cleaning.

New glass and the final result
The headlights were reassembled with new glass, checked for leaks and condensation. The optics have changed dramatically — no more dust inside and maximum transparency for high-quality light.
