Why the donor headlight did not fit
The owner of a Lexus NX 300h purchased a headlight from a scrap yard. Outwardly, it completely matched the original: the geometry of the body, the mountings and even the overall appearance were the same. However, when connected to the car's systems, problems began — the headlight did not work with the standard signals, and its electronics conflicted with the optics control unit.

Searching for a solution: combining two modules
Fortunately, the owner still had the remains of the original headlight with a working light module. This made it possible to choose a non-standard approach: to combine parts from the donor and original optics to obtain a fully functional headlight.

The work of service technicians
Our service specialists carefully disassembled the headlight from the dismantling. After diagnostics, it became clear which elements of the module needed to be replaced. As a result, we transferred the serviceable components from the original headlight and integrated them into the donor optics.

Checking and final result
After reassembly, the optics underwent a thorough check: from the tightness of the housing to the correct operation of all light modes. There is no condensation inside, the light module processes all signals, and the car's systems do not show any errors.

- Preservation of factory characteristics — thanks to the use of parts from the original optics, it was possible to restore full functionality.
