Overview
This car had previously been to a service centre, where they tried to fix the foggy optics. But as practice shows, they were unsuccessful. Unfortunately, when we disassembled the headlights, we found some surprises, which we will tell you about later.

This is what the headlights looked like when they arrived at our service centre. The owner was initially concerned about poor lighting on the road. We decided to replace the lenses first. When we opened the bonnet, we saw an interesting seam between the headlight block and the glass, covered with silicone. The car owner explained that he had previously taken the car to another service centre to have the foggy headlights fixed, but they were unable to do so.

We disassembled the headlights and were shocked by what we saw! The adaptive lens frame was broken in several places. Most likely, the previous service centre did not know how to properly remove the car's adaptation so as not to break anything. But we solved this problem too. The adaptation frame has been completely restored and is working without any problems.

The headlight glass was washed, and the decorative elements were cleaned of dirt and dust that had accumulated over the years. The lens turned out to be perfect, all that remained was to clean it and install new bulbs. Which is exactly what our masters did! After assembly, the headlights underwent a complete grinding and polishing cycle, after which a polyurethane film was applied to protect the headlight glass.

And of course, the most interesting thing is just look at the increase in light output that can be achieved with regular maintenance and replacement of bulbs!
