Condition of the optics before repair

The owner of a Volkswagen Passat CC contacted us with a problem with the rear optics. One headlight had a crack, the other had traces of peeling paint. Looking for new glass or a donor headlight proved futile. Buying a used headlight at a reasonable price also did not give the desired result.
The decision was made:
- carefully seal the crack,
- disassemble the headlight for complete cleaning of the internal elements,
- remove traces of condensation, dust and dirt,
- clean the contact groups from traces of corrosion,
- polish the outer glass of the headlight.
The result was not long in coming

After professional restoration, the rear headlights of the Volkswagen Passat CC look aesthetically pleasing and work properly again. The crack no longer threatens the functionality of the optics, and the polished glass has restored the headlights to their factory shine.
