Why the first upgrade did not meet expectations
A Hyundai Elantra car came to our service centre, which had recently had 2.5-inch bi-xenon lenses installed. The owner expected to get strong light and high-quality road illumination, but the result was far from ideal. The light was better than with the standard optics, but it still did not meet the car owner's expectations of what modern headlights should be like. Why the previous mechanics chose 2.5-inch lenses instead of 3.0-inch ones remains a mystery.

Disassembling the headlights and removing the old lenses
To achieve the best result, we unpacked the headlights again, carefully removed the previously installed 2.5-inch lenses, and prepared the optics for reinstallation.

Installing 3.0-inch bi-xenon lenses
The new installation was carried out using 3.0-inch lenses. They provide a wider and more powerful light output, which significantly improves night driving comfort.

Light adjustment on the stand
After installation, we checked the headlights for leaks to prevent fogging and reinstalled them on the car. The next step was to adjust the light. Using special equipment, we set the correct light beam so that it would not blind oncoming drivers and at the same time provide the widest possible view of the road.

Result: light that meets expectations
The final comparison showed the difference:
- 2.5-inch bi-lenses provided good but not strong enough light;
- after switching to 3.0 inches, the light became brighter, clearer and wider.
Now the owner of the Hyundai Elantra has exactly the level of light he was hoping for.
