Overview
A Japanese car with headlights that don’t fog up is not a Japanese car! A very common problem in the Japanese automotive industry is foggy headlights. This time we have a Honda Accord with foggy headlights.
There can be many reasons for fogging headlights. Impacts, chips, cracks, broken headlight units, dried-out headlight sealant, etc. But in this car, there are several issues at once! The car was in a minor accident, which means there are cracks somewhere. The sealant has completely dried out and the glass simply lets moisture into the headlight unit.

Our service disassembled the car headlight, removed the remains of the factory sealant and applied a new one. The car headlight was also dried and cleaned of dirt. It was reassembled and installed on the car body. The next step was to replace the fog light glass on the car. This is why it is necessary to cover car headlights with protective film, also known as protective wrap. Unfortunately, the glass could not withstand a stone and simply shattered. If the Honda fog light had been covered with protective film, the glass would have remained intact.

Our specialists replaced the broken glass on the Honda fog lights with new original glass and installed the fog lights on the car bumper.
