Condition of Range Rover Vogue optics before maintenance
A Range Rover Vogue arrived at our car lighting service in Kyiv, whose optics needed cosmetic restoration. The headlight glass had lost its shine and transparency, and one of the headlights had a more serious problem — constant fogging from the inside. The presence of condensation inside the headlight negatively affects all internal optics elements. Moisture gradually destroys reflectors, lenses and electronic components, which over time can lead to complete loss of light or headlight failure.

Why external polishing is not enough
After inspection, it became clear that one of the headlights could be restored by standard external glass polishing. This allows the optics to regain their transparency and neat appearance.
However, the second headlight required more extensive intervention. To eliminate fogging, it was necessary to open the headlight, perform internal cleaning and restore its tightness. Without this, the condensation problem would only get worse with each trip.

Opening the headlight and cleaning the optics internally
The headlight with the fogging problem was carefully opened along the factory seam. Our specialists thoroughly cleaned all internal elements of dust, moisture and deposits formed as a result of condensation accumulation. After completing the internal cleaning, the optics were reassembled with a new sealed seam. We waited for the necessary amount of time for the sealant to crystallise, after which the headlight underwent a mandatory check to ensure there were no prerequisites for re-fogging.

Headlight polishing and polyurethane film protection
After successful testing and installation of the optics on the car, both headlights were connected and subjected to external restoration. The headlight glass was sanded and polished, removing cloudiness and minor scratches.
The final stage was the application of SunTek polyurethane film, which provides long-term protection against ultraviolet rays, stones and aggressive operating conditions.

The result of Range Rover Vogue headlight maintenance
After all the work was completed, the Range Rover Vogue optics looked neat and tidy, and the fogging problem was completely eliminated. The headlights were once again clear, sealed and ready for further safe operation.
